"Advertise on this site" questions

Hi there,

I have a handful of small sites that I am using adsense on now and have a question about the "Advertise on this site" link that is shown in their ads. When I first setup my adsense account I only had the one website, and at some stage I must have put in the site name into my google account details. Problem now is that if you click the "Advertise on this site" link on any of my new site you are directed to a page that says "Advertise on blah blah blah". Problem is that "blah blah blah" has nothing to do with these other sites (ones about cycling, the other about fishing).

I've been looking though my google account settings to try and find where this name google uses is set, but I can't see it anywhere. I really want to be able to change this to be something more neutral that suits all my sites, rather than just my original site. Anyone know how to do this?

Ok, now I have another question. If I untick the "Include me in Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up" under the "Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up" section of my Google account settings, am I correct in thinking this should remove the "Advertise on this site" link in the Google ads displayed on my site?

I have altered the site name section in these settings to try and make it as generic as possible, but ultimately I would rather it if the "Advertise on this site" was just not shown.

It should, but I don't think the changes will be "live".

Aha! indeed you are right. Made the changes yesterday, and today the "advertise on this site" link is no longer displayed.
