Showing adsense on webshop

Is it smart or stupid to show ads like google ads on webshops? I'm afraid I'll direct possible customers away from buying my products. I don't sell information, the products has to be shipped.

If you think it's smart, where is the best place to implement the ads?

Anyone?

please.. I really need your help. doesen't any of you have any opinions about putting ads on online stores?

Just can't wait a day huh? Why not just block the addresses of your compeititors?
