You are indeed violating Google's TOSbr
br
Quote:
b AdSense for Search./b If You have elected to receive Search Results, You will display on Your Site(s) a Google search box (a "biSearch Box/i/b")
in accordance with the specifications provided by Google. Each Web
page(s) that contains a Search Box must also contain other content
related to Your Site. Except for related Google queries, all search
queries (including queries entered into an Ad search box) must
originate from individual human end users inputting data directly into
a Search Box (or Ad search box, as applicable) on Your Site(s). You
will send any and all queries (without editing, modifying, or filtering
such queries individually or in the aggregate) to Google and Google
will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide You with
corresponding Search Results and/or Ads, as applicable and as
available. Search Results and any accompanying Ads will be displayed on
Web pages hosted by Google (each, a "biSearch Results Page/i/b"), the format, look and feel of which may be modified by Google from time to time.

You do not have content unique to your webpage, your site is merely a portal to hold google's search box.br

brbrNot arguing but in the paragraph you posted, I see the term "related" content but i don't see the word you used, "unique".brbr"Each Webbrpage(s) that contains a Search Box must also contain other contentbrrelated to Your Site."brbr
br
What do you mean by "unique"? I have to originate some of the content?brIf that's true, I'd say 70% of adsense sites are in total violation ofbrgoogle adsense policy.brbrIf it is in violation, I will add unique content but I would like to have firmer confirmation before I go to all the trouble.brbr. brbtwbr- I'm not looking for a vastectomy but I like your approach tobrunique?? content on your site. Do you think if I write about choosingbrthe right search engine that would qualify as unique content? I neverbrthought of it but choosing the home page/search engine that's right forbryou can be an individual experience.brbrbrbr

The paragraph that I posted is basically stating that the google search
box cannot be the focal point of your site, the focal point must be the
additional content hosted on your site. Email google they will say the
same thing.

Also... if you are going for unique content you need to be sure that
there is a theme to that content and that the content provides a real
information resource for your visitors.

I would suggest rethinking the focus point of your site, as it appears
that is where your current perspective of your project seems to be
lacking.

Once you find a good theme for your website, focus on writing high
quality content that someone would actually want to read. Then, and
only then, should you think about adding that google search box.

And for the record, anyone stumbling onto your site is more likely to
just use the google toolbar, or www.google.com , than your little
on-site search box.

Hi Mike,

Like other mentioned, you need to add content to your site.

If you add articles from articles directories, it is good for Google, but useless for search engine ranking.

If you add unique content, it is also good with Google, AND you get the chance to rank well on some keywords if you optimize your pages

In the long run, unique content is really a no-brainer.

Remember... that the key to a successful adsense site is something that is going to rank well with the search engines but will not require constant updating on your part once it is established.

The only way to do this is unique useful content with "fair" search engine optimization. Any other methods or shortcuts inevitably will only work for a short time until google correct's their mistake or someone reports your useless site to google.

Be fair, and build lots of high quality sites, then you can sit back and let the money roll in.
