Contacting Google
Q1
I'm not sure if I should contact Google so I can make sure that there's nothing wrong with my Websites. Would they directly suspend my account or will they give me some time to rearrange them if there are problems? How exactlydo I contact them? Q2 I know that a lot of people get their account suspended for many reasons, but I also heard that there areothers who get suspended because Google says that "they aredeliberately clicking on ads" when they never did. Maybe it'ssomeone else who did it just so you get suspended. I know you can send your logs in this case, but what if I don't have logs? The bottom line is Google can't prove it. I would really be mad and sad if someone clicked on my ads several times just so to get me banned. Can you explain this to me? Basically, I just want to sure that my websites aren't violating the TOS and make sure thatfraud isn't commited, so my account survives for a while. |

You can contact Google using the Contact link at the top right in your AdSense account. They're reasonable people. They don't suspend accounts for no reason. Some of the people who say that they never clicked their own ads may not be telling the truth.

But I'd still beworried if someone clicks on my ads many times just to get me banned, etc. I mean it's a possibility, no?[/color] |

I spoke with someone on the Google AdSense team, and he assured me that there is no chance that someone could click on your ads and cause your account to be cancelled. The only time they suspend accounts is when an "egregious" offense is committed.
If you wish, I could ask him if he would be willing to make a statement here. |

I don't understand why you 'feel it's inevitable' that you will be accused of something you didn't do.
They're not some kind of headless monster. They have the IP addresses of people that have clicked the ads. If you are ever accused falsely, surely you can request logs from your ISP and your host to prove your innocence. Chances are, though, that if you conform to the TOS, and don't discuss your sites with friends or foes, that day will never come, and you're worrying for nothing. If you have reason to believe someone may be doing some tampering (like a sudden fluctuation, or odd pattern- the same things they'd look for) by all means contact them. If not, you should probably just leave well enough alone. |

I had my site cancelled because google said that I clicked on my own ads...I told them I didn't and I called my isp..They gave wrote me up a letter head saying that my ip has been the same for the last 6 months...(I have a static ip address, which is why this might of worked) I then sent that to google and also sent them my ip address and within a few days they reconnected my account and gave me $5.00 for lost time of their ads not displaying on my site. So they do mess up and there are ways to fix it, so just be friendly with them and they will work with you 100 percent. I also recommend seeing if your isp can provide you with monthly logs...Mine does I pay like 2.50 a month for them...so that might also be a possiblity... Hope this helps.
