Bought an Adsense "ready made" site
I just purchased an already made site for Adsense and will be getting it online in the next day or two. What I am not sure about is that it has adsense ads already in it and I am supposed to put my Adsense code in there. I do not have an Adsense account yet, so what will I do when I get the site up? Do I leave the other adsense codes in there that I assume belong to whoever created the site or take out the codes altogether? I don't want to get rejected by Adsense so need to know what to do so I don't mess up things for myself, otherwise I have wasted my money completely.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer. Angie |

Hey, Yes, you will need to delete all of the other adsense off of the web pages, as google will not accept you if you already have adsense on your site...Also, once again yes you will need to get set up your own account. Make sure you delete the adsense on the site you have first!!! Also, let me know how it works out and if you actually make anything from it! Thanks!

If you want to save some time, keep a copy of the original pages (with the codes). This way, when you get your Adsense account, you can chage the code in the original pages and publish them. It might save you some time.

Well, I got my site working without the codes...it just says warning: main(inc/top.inc): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in such and such....that is where the adsense would have gone on different parts of the page. Do you think I could leave it like that until I get approved for Adsense and explain to them that is where the Adsense ads would go? Maybe that is pushing it, I am just afraid I will somehow mess up the whole page if I delete and try to reinsert it later on.
Thanks for all the helps/tips. |

I personally would remove them completely just to make sure, you can always try, worse comes to worse they reject you, you remove it and try again... However, its not hard to insert it back in...Its simple cut and paste. You can also put in comments so that you remember where it was that you deleted it from...I don't know if you know html, but all you do is type this into your source and it won't show up on your homepage just shows it to you when you view the source...brbr<!--This is where I deleted adsense from- -> br
