Very low AdSense click rate
I have started putting AdSense on my football forum website (planetfootie.co.uk) but have so far received a very low amount of dailyad clicks, generally less than 5, despite a reasonable amount of traffic going through the website.
Is there anything obvious that I am doing wrong? I've moved the ad's from the footer to the header section but this has had little effect so far. tia, Kev |

Forum is harder to monetize using Adsense because you have the same visitors over and over. They kind of get immuned to the ads, unfortunately.
Maybe you can add a few content pages along with the forum? These pages should have a better conversion. |

That is a good idea to add some content pages, I will probably try that soon.
I've noticed some forums have adverts down the left-hand side of the screen alongside the forum topics, do you know if this gets a more successful click rate? |
