Desktop & Thunderbird
I recently installed Google Desktop which is used to keep an index of everything on your PC. It says that it can index Thunderbird messages as well but only when Thunderbird is open.
I did a search today for a word & Google Desktop tells me that it's in a few emails. Looking at the list I click on a link & the message with the word is displayed. Since I could not recall having seen such a message I then did a Thunderbird search but the word could not be found in heading, subject body etc. Does this mean that when items are delegated from your program that the index doesn't also delete what it has stored? -- Thanks in advance |
