Google Desktop keeps resizing

Is there any way to stop Google Desktop's gadgets and the Sidebar itself from resizing whenever my resolution changes when I start a game/full screen application?

To be honest there doesn't seem to be many options really. I will check now but I doubt I will find anything. Don't get me wrong. Google Sidebar is better than Windows Vista Sidebar but still it lacks advanced options which annoys me.

Um I don't understand what you mean.

Ok follow these steps.

Enlarge the side bar out to the left and expand a gadget like the News Feed thing to cover almost the whole sidebar (that's the way I have it, so I can see like 20 headlines at once and read the whole headline as well). Then switch to a full screen application which by default runs at a lower resolution than your desktop resolution (such as a game).

When you exit the game and your monitor switches back to your desktop resolution the Google Sidebar will be skewed up and the way you had put it (with the enlarged News Feed gadget and the thicker sidebar) will be ruined.

If you don't understand my question or my example please tell me.
