GDS & File Indexing Question
I been using GDS on limited basis ever since the program has been out and while the Windows search function allows me to search for files, it's pretty lame in a " specific word search " function and takes entirely to long to find files in general.
I initially indexed the system when i loaded the program and only run the program when I need to do a search. However, I noticed that GDS does not " auto index " newly created files to which I posed this question else where and was told GDS does not function in the same manner as Windows for indexing files. So, does this mean that I have to " manually " re-index every time when files are created when I start/run GDS or do I have leave GDS running in the back ground and it will " auto index " itself when files are created?? |
