I have the Google Weather Globe on my desktop. For some unknown reason the weather data for an unknown city occasionally shows up, even though the city and state I entered is still shown under the globe. By clicking on Options, and then re-entering the city and state, the globe immediately displays the right city again. What causes this, and how can I prevent it happening in the future?

weather globe
It happens about once a day, usually, although not always as far as I can tell, when I close my laptop. The computer goes into hibernation, and when I reopen it the temperature readings for Yuma, AZ may be in the 30's, while my thermometer shows 60's.
