google sidebar: can I remove the search box from sidebar?

I love google side bar, but I don't like that search box at the bottom of the side bar, how can I remove it?

no.,you can not remove this search box.

You can remove google toolbar (which also removes the sidebar), but if you have windows vista -- windows has a version of the sidebar as well. To activate, go to start and in the search window type: windows sidebar and it will automatically start. It looks nicer than google sidebar too with opacity offering, etc.
