Have some problems with google desktop search

I really like google desktop search, but now I have some problems with it.
1. I locked desktop search accidently and I couldn't unlock it. I tried to google a answer and even put a post in the google discussion group. Unfortunately, I found nothing.

2. When I do google desktop search and click "See all desktop results in a browser", nothing happen. I don't understand why and don't know how to solve this problem.

Can anyone give me a clue?

finally, I solved these two problems.
1. Unlock google desktop search: You have to uninstall the whole thing and reinstall it. When you are asked if you need to re-install it later, please choose no. Otherwise the problem will remain.
2. Google desktop search is not fully compatible with Google Chrome. You'd better use IE

Finally, I can view the results in a browser. However, another funny thing comes out, whatever I search, it always says 8 search results and then shows 8 results. Don't understand it at all!

Maybe not of direct help to you, but instead of Googel Chrome i recommend you try Mozilla/Firefox. I did test Chrome and was not very impressed.
