GD disables other program

Hello all,

I support a home grown program at my work that is used by several hundred people. It's written in C/C++. I have received reports that this tool just stops working. Enter the program name in a DOS window results in a new command prompt. No error message. Nothing. After much time spent in problem determination, I have found the cause to be the latest version of Google Desktop. I unstill GD and my program works. Reinstall and it's broke. The only networking that my program uses is FTP.

It seems like GD has high jacked a process with the operating system ( Windows XP ) and is now preventing my program to function. Has anyone else seen this type of problem? Any solution? Thanks for any help out there.

Hi. Me again. So, if no one has an answer here, can someone point me to a forum that is more technical? One that might be monitored by the developers of Google Desktop.
