can it be made to reindex?

Hey, im just wondering if the google desktop search can be made to re-index without reinstalling as mine is annoyingly linking loads of files that i deleted from my drive AGES ago. Its also bringing up websites im my quick view bar that i went to months ago, and not necessarily recent ones......any solutions?

On the Google Desktop Search plugins site, there is a program that can clear the index, thus forcing GDS to reindex.

whats the plugin called? i just had a quick look on the index section of the google plugin site but coulnt see one that clears the index
