Google Maps in Europe

Google has launched beta versions of Google Maps for France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. These sites include the full suite of interactive street maps, driving directions, and integrated local business search.

This is great. Many people might find this useful. I only hope that Google does something for India. It seems wrong to see such a lot of things being done for other "privileged" nations when we're sitting here like fools.

Maybe the day will come when the whole world (and beyond) will be indexed by Google Maps.

Well, my reply is a bit late, but better late than never, right?

Since I live in Europe, I'm rather pleased with this expension. Even though the Netherlands is still lacking in the list, atleast I can take a peek in countries a little more accesable then England or the USA.
