Google map API key is used for other websit Error

Hi All,

I am making a sharepoint web part for my site : http://coloplast:20096 deployed at my development sever.

I have used the google map api key sign up form to get the key for this website. but the key is not working. I get an error message that this key is used by other website . get new api key from ... site.

I know that if i get the key for the site http://coloplast:20096 it would be valid for all my urls in this directory.

My webpart is placed on "Default page". so the effective url becomes http://coloplast:20096/Pages/default.aspx but I get the error mentioned above.

I tried all possible combinations to get the key like

http://coloplast , http://coloplast:20096 , http://coloplast:20096/ , http://coloplast:20096/Pages

but everytime i get the javacript error mentioned above.
I would request you to write me how can I solve this problem.
Is there some otherway to mention the url for sharepoint site in order to get the key. or there is something else even?

Problem solved

It was not the key which was creating problem but the script for google maps for webparts was not registered correctly
