Placing my KML info on Google Earth for all to see

I would like to post places of interest to others that I have saved in MY Places in Google Earth.

I have noticed what appears to be User Places in Google Earth designated by a Blue Square.

I would like to know how to do this and if any more complex KML options can be used other than a Blue Square.

I have done numerous searches over the past several days with no success thus my trying this avenue. If the answer is trivial and I have not used the correct search terms to find the answer on my own I apologize in advance and appreciate and assistance that can be given.
