Just starting using google earth, amazed...

So I've been staying away from it, as I didn't need another map program.

But yesterday was my day off and I decided to give it a go. Holy! Where have I been? I was amazed at all the features, such as tilt, and immediately started thinking about it's benefits for a realtor.

Do any of you guys use it in your business? If so, how?

A lot of realtors use it. It is great when you have med to high def images for your area that you are working. I mostly use it for Geocaching. I can use my GPS and attach it to GEarth and see where I was on the sat images. Very Very cool.

I've been experimenting with it now more than ever, and are trying to come up with ways to integrate it's technology into my business without spending a uncomfortably long time doing so.

Yeah it's amazing, does anybody know if there's a 'google map by request' option? I am willing to pay for it, unfortunately, the area i'm interested in has no detailed map.

You have to contact the companies that take the pictures to get more detailed shots of your area.

On Google Earth, Look at the copyright. Then Google the company name and you go from there.
