What is the update rate?
For MOST (inhabited) areas? I would think that places like Chicago and Denver would be updated frequently, but there is no real deliniation on when/where updates occur.
I was told that there is an ability to post for review an aerial photo, but I haven't found anything to help accomplish that. PLEASE this is something that is very important to the data's integrity. Danke |

I took a look to a bus in NY (I saw the number on the top of it clearly.. gEarth is awesome) and then I rechecked the exact same place after two weeks and the bus was still there. And this is NY.
Imagine other, not-so-important places. I'd complain to google because of the quality of european images, they suck. |

Clandestine information, and its security
So I there are reasons to not have latest and greatest images. But, with the functionality of gearth, it gives the capability for say a national forest to post a photograph of thier land, and make that land more attractive to the rest of the world (I've already gone to many ski destinations in canada, and I'm sure other people are doing the same). I think that's really the meat of what I'm asking. How do you, if you know your area and are not concerned about security risks, post an image for all of gearth users to see?
I think that would be the biggest reason as to why europe doesn't have nice images. You can't even see die dom in Koeln that well...security is very important and they are in a HOTBED of strife and dissension. I wouldn't blame them if they didn't want their images up on gearth for someone to ps an "x" on them. Care, |

well
well , these images are three years old , according to mondine , and i respect his views ,coz , genuinely , he said that the progress of a construction near his house ,resembles , it was three year old , he informed ina topic , you cannot expect a live transmission of earth from google earth , nor can they update this , coz , it is quite complex and yes people should understand that making a software like google earth is nearly impossible , but google has done that quite properly , my house cannot be seen with google earth , thats different aspect , but , some undevelopment is tolerable.

It is hard to for Google to get the images because, plainly, they do not have their sattelites up there. I also can't see my house on Google Earth...but still, there are not a lot of programs out there like Google Earth, so you have to give it some credit.
