Summer is coming up soon, and that means it's almost time for Google's 2nd annual Summer of Code initiative.

I found one topic from SoC 2005. I've read many things that indicate that 2006 will be even bigger, with more companies, more mentors, and more coders. This forum serves as a discussion point for that. I'll be hanging out in the SoC IRC channel, and I might post some of the more interesting logs here.
