Uk Councils Gone Crazy!

* Some councils in the UK are planning swtch off & minimise the street lights during the night! So they can save some 1000s of pounds excuse themselve by:-
1- The credit crunch!
2- Protecting the environment!
3- So peaple can see some faint stars!! (So what! for years no body in the UK cities complained about not seeing stars, people have no time to look at stars! & always rushing under & over the ground to catch buses & trains to go to & from work!)
THESE REASONS ARE SILLY EXCUSES!
The councils forget about the reasons why they fit the street lights in the 1st place!
They are thinking of saving few £1000s, but don't care about paying £1000,000s for public safety & fighting crimes as aresult.
HOW STUPID THINKING THEY TRY TO ADOPT
