Google Operating System

I shall be completely honest.
I myself am IT Support and have tried a lot of operating systems.
For me at the moment im very much loving Linux.
But i feel if google created an operating system they would make so much money.
I mean compare IE or Firefox to Google Chrome.
Google chrome wins by a long shot my browsers average speeds for each are:-

IE - 1600ms
Firefox - 300ms
Chrome - 40ms

If they made an operating system as quick as chrome is to IE
Microsoft would just shut down.

Chrome is the best.
Just a suggestion.

Google actually already has their own operating system which they use at work, and there are still talks about whether or not they will be releasing it as a public release. But rest assured, they definitely have their own operating system already.

it's a heavily modified version of Ubuntu, from what I've heard.

yeah its cause Ubuntu is the SHIZ.
best operating system can do anything.
But not always the most responsive especially when doing the updates.
More to the point Ubuntu uses all ram doesn't reserve say 256mb like frigging microsoft does.
