you can subscribe to other posts and blogs by using the RSS feeder features provided on the websites.

I think you can subscribe to your own blog so that it'll show on your Google Reader when you're logged in.

It helps in organizing your favorite blogs - saves you time. All the recent entries will be posted in your reader and you don't even have to visit the site just to read a particular entry that you're interested in.

Google reader is sure worth a try, especially if you want to read stuff from your favorite sites/blogs on a regular basis. As these sites/blogs gets updated, your reader will let you know and read the stuff without actually visiting it.

Google Reader is no doubt the best RSS subscriber.
You can subscribe the feeds of your blog or some other's blog to Google reader.
Google reader helps you to read the content or any updation of websites which you had subscribed in your Google Reader.
