Be selective about the sites from which you request links. Search engines use sophisticated rules when judging the importance of a link, and the popularity of the site linking to you is a key criteria

Page Rank and Traffic is totally a different concept buddy!

Getting high traffic does'nt mean your site has Good PR, or Good PR for your site does'nt mean that you have good bit of traffic to your site. If you want to hit Higher PR, concentrate on Link Building with high PR sites (quality and content based) and optimize your site with rich content and keywords. Thts the key of getting Higher PR. Hope this helps
