Smile New Reader Features: Blogroll, Mobile and iPhone

There's a new post over at the official Google Reader blog about some new features created in engineers' 20% time. Here's a quick bullet-point summary:
  • Blogroll to put on your site, generated by Reader based on your subscriptions.
  • Head over to the "Tags" section on the settings page, make one of the tags you use for subscriptions public, and click on "add a blogroll to your site."
  • Google Reader Mobile: Ability to see trends data on which feeds are viewed on mobile, as well as the ability to change the number of items displayed at once, and disable reformatting linked web sites for mobile phones.
  • The latter in particular is especially useful for iPhone and other smart phones that are capable of properly displaying sites.
  • For iPhone users, the user interface has been changed to make navigation easier.
  • Navigational buttons have been moved to the top, since it's easy to return to the top of the page by just tapping on the status bar.

It is a great news that Google have a Google Reader Mobile on which we can send data from website through mobile. Is "blog mobile" a new trend in the year 2008? I think it is, google and yahoo just started with this .

That's great news! But you still need to have an Iphone before you can enjoy those features..
