I prefer the simplicity of Google Talk too. When I want all the features Yahoo and MSN offer me, I'll use that. When I want simplicity I use Google Talk.

Google doesn't really do what the others do, they usually come with something different. Personally, I think that is one of the strenghts of Google.

What enhancements and new features were you thinking about? What could Google offer you that would be more interesting than what MSN and Yahoo could offer us?

Gtalk's simplicity makes it more efficient at the task it's needed to be.....even its file transfer is very nice.................I attribute this to its simplicity

GTalk r0x if you dont like it use a different UI such as MirandaIM or Trillian, they both allow you to use GTalk with all of its features plus some more with the use of Plugins for example Trillian has a webstatus plugin that allows you to post a pic (.png) that changes when you log on and off so you can have it on a website and users will know if you are online/offline

Gtalk is good for it's simplicity and less size of file (only 900 KB or so).

BUt I think, Google should provide more tools for Gtalk.
