Save conversations in my PC

Hi everybody,
I was wondering if is it possible save my chat conversations in my own PC instead of Gmail account.

I think you can try to get Gtalk APIS and search for API which maintains log of your conversations .

I think yahoo already have that features. Save all conversation on archive, restore it by pressing f3. This is very usefully when taking instructions online
