opinion?

I haven't tried the messenger yet. Anyone find it to be any better than the rest out there?

Ok, which messenger are you referring anyway? Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger or other Messenger?

I was refering to the Google Instant Messenger. Just wondering if anything sets it apart from the rest.

google messenger is Gtalk.

Google Talk is great, but lacks a lot of features for the moment. If they add video-conference, group-chat, smilies (which can be disabled if you wish) in the client, then it's the best.

For the moment it's very good and clean but there are too many features missing. I hope they'll update the client fast because that's a really really long time ago!

But the online version of Gtalk (Google Talk Gadget) already has group-chats and smilies.

I'm also a user of G-talks, but they dont have this feature on which i could use my web camera.

Why does it matter if you use web cam or not?
