Question How do I block my IP address in Google Analytics?

Hello, I hope this is the right place for Google Analytics.
How do I block my IP address in Google Analytics?
.....I don't want my IP address to show up or be tracked from my PC in Google Analytics. How can I do that?
I know that I have to go into the Filter Manager, but the rest is too confusing.
I know I have to create a new filter.
and in the drop down menu do I have to select; "Exclude all traffic from an IP address"?
And when I do that is the IP address already in the box below mine?
And what do I do to ADD -REMOVE Boxes called 'Apply Filter to Website Profiles'?
Thank You.
