GAIM and stream error?

OK, I followed the directions found on smashsworld yesterday and got GoTalk working with GAIM. Then they pulled the plug. Now I've been using the official settings found at the official Google Talk Site, but everytime it tries to register to the server it fails because of a "stream error." Any ideas?

Are you using port 5222 or 5223 ?
I had some errors with Adium (based on GAIM) because it switched my port to 5223 when i selected SSL(TLS). I set it manually to 5222.

Well, with nothing changed, it seems to be connecting now. Odd...

Hi, I've not been so lucky - I'm still getting the same error. Please if anyone has any answer I'll be looking here
