brbrFirst of all... The programs you talk about (Google Earth, Google Video Player and Google Talk Voice), are all programs that need a lot capiticity. brbrSecond.. Do you 'clean' your PC every week? Deleting stuff you don't need, etc. You should try that, so all the files you don't use don't need to be used (without you knowing it).brbrAlso The Voice Option in Google Talk is not working any good while running other programs, so try to shut off other programs. brbrIf that doesn't work all, your PC is just a little bit 'crappy'. br

brbrIf you think that it is not going to work, than just buy a new PC with mega-specs and try it then. If you have money yo much.br

Or you could just not listen to marketroids at Intel and buy something else...

Anyway, IMHO it's mostly a matter of trashed OS - one of my computers, with perfectly maintained Windows 2000, works with GTalk like a charm last time I checked. And yes, Pentium II, 266MHz at that (granted, the machine has two processors...but it isn't such a big gain if one doesn't multitaks while talking via GTalk)

Chat interfaces with macs right?

There's no need for additional plugins? I use ventrilo and adminstrate my own server, and found that getting multiple codecs to work is an issue. I haven't tested yet the voice, but I would like to know.

Also, what is the maximum number of connections?

Can there be multiple people in a single window (so that it becomes more like a room, rather than an im window)?

Much appreciated, I love google community.
