Paint.NET is freeware developed by Washington State Univeristiy. I think it is the best photo editing freeware in the world. A lot of people usePhotoShop, but for a free alternative Paint.Net is awesome. They also give you extensions on their website.

Like Photoshop, you also get layers.br

Looks interesting. I don't really need another one, but I think I'll give it a workout to see what it can do.

Not a lot of people know about Paint.Net...which is pretty shocking because Microsoft helped them make it...brbrIt is the only image editor (except MSPaint) that I have on this comptuer, so I thought it was worth noting...especially when I saw there was no other topic specifically about it.

brbrAnd thanks for posting a link...I was too busy with those pics to notice. ^^;br

If you want banners, you should keep your eyes on the standard size: 60*486

Hey, this looks good. I'll try downloading it. It should be better than what I now do - I don't have PhotoShop.

I downloaded it about half a year ago after someone here suggested I try it, but I haven't used it very much. There was something that annoyed me about it. I can't remember what that was though.
