Would Like to Help Small Businesses

I like to design and redesign office forms but I'm having a hard time finding work from home with this. Any suggestions? My husband is my biggest customer so far. He is a store manager for a dollar store and his corporate office doesn't supply him with readable master copies or a copy machine at work so I've been redoing all his office forms and making copies at home so he can take them back to work. I've done all kinds of work for him like designing a phone call list of all employees and managers, redesigning his new hire forms, request off forms, signage for the store for stuff like upcoming store meetings, organizational signage for the stockroom and much more. I have a website and I'm listed in Yahoo and Google local directories, but no bites yet. Do you think I should just start dropping business cards everywhere or what would be the best way to get some new clients? Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

mondine is an unknown quantity at this point
One simple thing to do, is to make better use of your forum signatures.
Nothing about your current "hire me" link gives any indication of why one would.

Here, for example, you have four lines. A short, descriptive blurb for your services, as well as a clearly-defined link, could generate some business.

Maybe make (or request someone to make) a nice graphic for you. Those tend to generate more interest (and clicks).
