i believe its like photoshop.. an open source software..

Great free alternative for PS.

Much smaller than ps, also requires less resources to run.

I like the Logo gimp, it is unique than other graphics software ... I think it's look like a mouse?...

Explore first, It's as powerful as PS if you know how to use it.

that software is not in the level of adobe photoshop and other known image editor software try to use fireworks much better than gimp
