Check this animation out, how is this done???

Can someone please point me in the right direction for creating something not advanced as this but in that direction. Have they used flash cs3 or Maya or what.

Its the navigation box at the top with the caterpillar = http://www.iwebsolutions.co.uk/info/about.htm#q

its a flash/swf movie thats playing on the page. but i feel the caterpillar animation was made in some other program like maya or 3d max and inserted into a flash movie for embedding into the web page.

Yeah. I think it is done in a 3d software like 3d max and maya. The clouds could be done in Flash though...

I have seen animations like this made in Flash. Many of them track the mouse or cursor position.
