Sony Vegas 7

Hello all,

I am making a movie in Sony Vegas and the banner that I made to go around the edges of the movie doesn't look like it fits. The dimensions are the same size as the movie is, but when i preview it the width looks to be off. Am i doing it right, or is it totally wrong?

Here is a screen shot of what i am talking about:

(In the screen shot you can see the how the banner is not tall enough (the colored area can be seen above the black area) however when i change the height of the banner is not wide enough) Help appreciated.

Check to see if "Maintain Aspect Ration" is checked. If the source and comp size are not exactly the same it will do something like this. Just uncheck it.

Depending on which version you have. You can right click on the clip and go to Switches and uncheck it or right click and find it under properties of the clip.

If this doesn't work...check the pixel resolution of your project (720 x 480, 720 x 486, etc.) and make sure your graphic and video are the same size.

No problem. It took me a while to figure it out at first.
