I use Photoshop for raster files and Illustrator for vector then put it all in Quark for print. I like Photoshop the most...it's the first software I learned on. Right now I'm trying out Painter.

I usually use Photoshop for graphics and photo editing, becuase that's what it's best in. however, with layouting, I find it much easier to use Macromedia's Fireworks. more used to the way stuff is dragged, pulled, and stuff like that in FW... I kinda get annoyed with the way things work in Photoshop - guess I'm just not too adjusted to it.

photoshop cs

the best is photoshop cs, if you get good at this, you do not need anything (except maybe for 3d graphics) photoshop is in my opionion the most advanced and the best out "there." its also really cool when i get bored on the computer

i have photoshop 7 on one computer, jasec painshop on my laptop and on this computer i have Photoshop CS registered and its a corporate edition. CS is great for every graphical design. I have found it easily used and great for a graphics editor or maker like myself to use.

I have Photoshop, Fireworks and Paint Shop Pro 8. In my opinion Photoshop is the best because you get more options and plus, the new version of PSP 8 looks a lot like the photoshop interface.

Hopefully a new version of PSP will come out. I'm getting pretty tired of 8 already.
