I am into web and graphic design, and i use Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I do have CS... but it'll take me a really long time to get use to it (the keyboard shortcuts don't work for me )... I also have Jasc Paintshop Pro 8... but I don't like it so I don't use it. I do use Jasc Animation Shop for making blinkies or animations though

Photoshop rules!!

i use photoshop. it is for sure the best graphic editor. it has so many options, all you need to do in order to work with photoshop is experiment with its featurs. its a little complicated but if you really want to use photoshop you should sit for about an hour everyday and try everything there is to try in photoshop:layers, brushes, channels and other cool stuff that lets you edit or make pictures.

i have photoshop 7 as well as imageready 7. however, i obtained them for the mere idea of playing around with them. i only know basic skills such as cropping but it's kinda fun playing around with the filters. photoshop 7 indeed is the standard today and with all the airbrushing in magazines, really haha. i have yet to master any skills in photoshop.

does anyone have that new photoshop? i think it's called photoshop cs. dang, graphics programs are so expensive.

how did you guys learn to manipulate photos in photoshop? online tutorials? books? seminars? or did you learn on your own through trial and error? if this were a hobby but not job requirement.

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements, which came with my computer. I'm not really good at all this visual editing stuff... But I can edit photos and stuff... Just the basics though. I also have a digital camera which came with all this software... I have SOOO much multimedia editing software that I don't even use... And it takes up so much space on my hard drive as well........

Heh, I like to keep my computer as clean as possible.

Photoshop 6 (I know, I need to upgrade)
and Macromedia Flash 5 (Flash MX, and Flash MX 2004 suck.)

Sometimes I'll use Illustrator, after exporting from Flash 5. Cause Flash bungles the colors a bit.

Why does Flash MX and Flash MX 2004 suck? I am behind times. I did not even know there was a Flash MX 2004...

Please enlighten me on the differences between Macromedia Flash 5 and its contemporaries Flash MX and Flash MX 2004, as well as Flash MX and Flash MX 2004, if you please

Yes, Photoshop does indeed seem to be the most popular...it is arguably the best all-around professional graphics program out there that has become the standard today.
