Fireworks is great for start learning but PS gives you so many tools to make everything that you'll switch fast...

i first started just on Fireworks. Now i have Photoshop 7.0 too. I think I use fireworks more often cause it has an easier interface.

I also just started with Fireworks. I have Photoshop 6.0, and that's pretty good. Though I still need alot of practice with graphic design in general.

because the copy you have is the 1st hack version available on the net. It worked but w/o shortcut keys. You need to get the real version w/ hacked serial number (you can have any numbers as your serial) and of course... my shortcut keys work :P

I use GIMP because i can't afford photoshop. Gimp is probably one of the best freeware logo makers, and it's great for advatars and sig's too.

Photoshop CS, Imageready CS(sometimes), Easy Gif Animator and Fireworks MX if I feel like using it(it's uninstalled at the moment)
