Which graphics editor do you use?

I use Macromedia Fireworks MX most often, but I don't have much experience with Photoshop. I also have Paint Shop Pro which I use occasionally, mainly for touching up photos.

I use PSP and PS mostly. PSP is what I learned on, and PS is what I do when I want a crisp look. There is still so much to learn.

In my opinion if you want a perfect looking website or a very nice print PhotoShop CS is the best solution. You can also find a lot of helpful tutorials and even very profesionally looking premade effects.

Photoshop CS, it has a large amount of flexibility and tons and tons of plugins.

PSP / Fireworks when I need to edit stuff to import to flashy flash.

I like PSP, though. I've been using it longer than Fireworks and know all the panels and shortcuts, etc...

I'd love to use Photoshop but I don't really want to pay the heavy price for CS or even the cheaper Elements.

Anyway, I'm using GIMP right now. It's working pretty well so far.

I'm also using GIMP. I only use "PhotoShop" as a verb.

Photoshop is the industry standard, seems like. I use version 6 at home and I used 7 when I was interning at a newspaper. I learned on Photoshop and haven't found anything easier. I found PSP to be similar in capabilities but not as powerful. But when it comes to vector images, Illustrator and Freehand are much better than Photoshop.

Most of the time, I use Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Imageready for my website design and editing images. Macromedia products sound pretty nice and I will get them soon, though I have no experience with Fireworks MX and the Studio package. Never used Microsoft Paint before for website design. LOL.
