Does anyone know how to add a shine to images in macromedia fireworks, like this image:

Try using the bevel boss filter in macromedia fireworks, However to get the full efect you probably would need the full version of it.

Oh right. I thought he meant that, but I was thinking there might be a cut down version of Fireworks. I have got the full version anyway.

Mayur is an unknown quantity at this point
I think Photoshop is easier for makiing images like that. I can't even find the function in fireworks to bevel. hehe. I use a combination of Fireworks and Photoshop for useability.

I think 3D Studio Max or Maya are the easiest ones to use for something like that. Probably because it's most likely made in 3DS Max.

I'd say use a Bevel, then just paint overtop of it and tweak it until you get the right result.
