PR is quite really important to me. It was part to make SERP get better(on my opinion). So Far after the last update PR 'SEem to be less important factor.

High PR has become slightly overrated.

Relevant one way links
Constant content changes
being ranked on your search terms

These should be your marketing technique.

BUT. These days if you have a PR7 then people will market the hell out of it

I would love a PR7 health blog to link to me.

PR is important too, but back links is far way more important.

unique and informational content is more important than backlinks,, coz you can get backlinks if your site gives great information...
