What's Wrong With My Country? And How Do We Fix It?

I think I am like many of you who believe that we do indeed live in the best country. And also like you I feel a growing frustration with the lack of leadership from our politicians. We all see the problems that face us. Our representatives are in a state of political gridlock. They are no longer able to solve the problems that threaten to destroy our way of life. I put the blame for this on you and me. But no longer. It is time for action.
My sole reason for joining this site was to try and get people to act. What do I purpose? First we need to get their attention. It is my belief that political action committees/special interest groups etc... Have gained so much influence that meaningful legislation is impossible. We need campaign finance reform. They are not going to do this willingly. To get their attention I purpose to vote out of office all current elected U.S. Congressmen and senators. No favorites. Liberal or conservative. They all must go. It's up to you and me. Who's with me?

Yikes.
First of all, please turn off the Caps Lock. In forums such as this, is the equivalent of constantly shouting at people, and not considered to be very polite.

You may also want to note that while there are quite a few US users, this is an international forum, with members from all over the world.
I'm afraid that rather quite a few are really not interested in US politics, and frankly not pleased at the assumption that they should be.

But perhaps you can find some others that do share your views.
But please. Stop 'shouting'.

Well, maybe you could try posting in the General Discussion forum. That's the place to be for such things. And yes, shouting really isn't too good a thing.

Maybe he was introducing himself in a unique way, expressing his failed voice chords and hyper active lung activity. Also that he might be paranoid and think the US government wants to eat everyone for tea.
Oh, and I agree...I'm sick of hearing about the war in Iraq, American politics, and guns. Luckily the latter seems to be a lot quieter now, which is good.

I hate these bloody dicussions about war, government, and world general debates. Why cant we go to a different type of dicussiong (im sick of these dicussions since we have had like 50000..)
