Hello to All,

I'm looking to find out if anyone knows how to create a folder in Gmail that performs the exact same function as it does in Hotmail.

I tried a suggested solution and it did move a copy of the email to the newly created "Label" but when I tried to delete the original email in my "InBox" it also was removed from the newly created label.

In Hotmail I create & use "NEW" folders to hold emails, that I receive so that I can empty them out of my "Inbox". I only want to see new just received emails in my inbox. Most emails I delete after reading them and those that I decide to keep, I place or move them into a new or existing folder that I created.
