Well sarika,
To get 1st position in Google for any term in any industry it will take a lot of time and work. 1. Site Structure. A. Proper site structure is vital. Do not use a full flash site. Optimal results usually come from basic HTML website. 2. content is king A. you want a lot of quality content on your site. Relevant content rich in keywords and information for the user. 3. linking A. Really there is no easy way to have effective link campaign. It takes a lot of hands on effort and back and forward chit chat with other webmasters to achieve quality links. B. Text links are best. You want people to link to you via contextual links using keywords you want to rank for. C. Social media sites and blogs are a great way to get some links and some traffic flow. Write nice articles on your products and services and distribute them to related outlets. 4. Maintenance. A. You want to update your site with new and useful information. B. Never stop trying to obtain links. C. "No outlet left unplugged" (use every resource available to you). SOME WORDS OF ADVICE. Dont worry to much about getting your links registered. It will drive you nuts. Google wont register all your links ( matter a fact they only will show you a small fraction). So if you spend your time trying to track your links it takes away time from obtaining more links. This is pretty much the quick run down of it all. SEO is such a big category that there is no easy way to explain it. It would be best if you asked direct/specific questions that can be answered in detail. I hope this helped. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know or if there was anything i left out. -Agent Last edited by AgentOz; 03-27-2008 at 07:37 AM. |
