My computer is my life

Well, not really, but it's become pretty darned important. The other day I needed to write a note and my computer was down. I sat at my desk staring at a blank screen until my gaze shifted to the 'other' destop and I saw a pencil lying their. I picked it up and blew the dust off of it. I sat there contemplating the pencil. Then my eyes scanned the desktop and I spotted a pad of lined paper. It only took me another 30 minutes to put 2 and 2 together. I jumped up and went to the library to use their computer. Cool, free computer use. But all these hardcopy books. Ugh!

I use an iMac G4, running Mac OS 10.4.10. I've used Google for my search engine for ages. Recently, I started using iGoogle. Great for a few months, then everything on screen came up scrambled, as if some digital hand had pushed all the gadgets to the left and then spit half chewed peanuts at the web page. The only message I'm able to discren is "Send failed." So?
