Hello, my name is eljefe.

[waits for everyone to stop saying 'Hi eljefe']

I found google a long time ago (before the bubble burst). Actually I found it in PC Magazine when they did search engine benchmarks, back when Altavista was king and Yahoo and MSN were trailing. Google was a newcomer that didn't have enough of an index yet to beat Altavista out of the #1 spot, but the relevancy of the results were outstanding.

I'm proud to say I've been google dependent since 2000, 2001'ish (whenever that issue of pcmag came out).

I hail from College Station as a student at A&M, anything else you'll have to glean from other places.

My Uncle was a Professor of Agronomy there for many years. He works now at the University extension field office in Vernon, Texas. One other thing, I'm a Longhorn fan, sorry about that. A&M is my second favorite though!
