I think that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire can be discribed as a thriller.....if not, then i suppose King Kong...

I still like the origional "Psycho" movie the best.

Oh man, the shower scene in that movie is burned into my memory. Definetly a good choice and for its time,
unheard of. (1960) Mark, I enjoyed reading your blog, especially the sports related posts.

I'll say 'The Shining'(1980). Jack Nicolson was scary. The outside maze chase, the entire Overlook Hotel chase with the axe. The twins, the 'redrum' room 237. The conversation with himself at the bar.

The blood in the elevator! The clincher is when we find out he keeps writing 'all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy'in all those different formats, fonts. Looney tunes!!

I quite like "What Lies Beneath" or "Silence of the Lambs". The latter tops all really - Anthony Hopkins is the best
