Nice, I wanted to try this. However, I think it says that "
The trial version is a fully functional copy of Google SketchUp (free)." at the bottom of the download site. Are you sure this is a fully free version, or is it merely a trial?brbrEither way, it looks like a nice program. I can't wait to get started populating my neighborhood!br |

PThe trial version is a fully functional copy of Google SketchUp (free)BRThe difference is: The trial version is (or was) only an 8-day version, the Google version has no time-limitations. BRIt will not have all functionalities of SketchUp v5 which will cost you some $450,-.

Okay, now that I've used it more thoroughly, here's my opinion:brbrIt's a great program. Has absolutely no texturing controls to my knowledge, but a whole slew of other features, like X-ray models, even! The interface is really easy to use, you can learn it within 15 minutes, and it's a little touchy but it works. It's got direct communication with Google Earth, allowing it to import the land you're looking at so that you can build houses and whatnot on it.brbrAll in all, it's a great, easy to use program, yet complex features don't get in the way or become impossible because it's easy. There's no modelling features, though I didn't expect any considering it's a house building program. However, for straight edges, this is the easiest thing on the market.brbrUse it.brbr-Metroid48br
