I believe that Google 'sits' on a number of 'Google-related' site names.
Although some people are sure that they can use these to predict future services, many of them are just pre-emptive, and are never used.

You never know, but Google might use this URL for a new service it starts. Or for another April Fool Hoax, as Lakshman (luckymurari) said. Or maybe it is just a joke.
